Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

If you have read my blog for some time then you will know that one of my all time favourite cleansers is the Simple Cleansing Lotion. However, I think I may have found a new rival in the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, as it honestly is so good. I have been trying out this cleanser for a couple of weeks now and I have to say that I am beginning to love it.

I picked up the Combination and Sensitive Skin version as I knew this would be best for my skin. It aims to combat makeup, cleanse your skin and leave it looking mattifying.  I pour the smallest amount on to a cotton wool pad; as a little goes along way and then rub it into the skin. It helps to remove my makeup really easily, breaking down all the dirt and grub. I tend to use 2 cotton wool pads as that’s all it takes to ensure my makeup is removed.

Although it does help to remove my makeup I do believe this cleanser would be better to use as a double cleanser, as even though it removes all of my makeup so well, it doesn’t get deep enough into my skin to remove all of the dirt. However for £4.99 you can’t go wrong. It’s currently on sale for £3.29 at Superdrug so if you are after a new cleanser why not quickly get it for this price while you have the chance.

This cleanser doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, yet also doesn’t dry it out but leaves it feeling soft and refreshed after every use. It is super gentle on the eyes as well and helps to remove mascara with ease. I would totally recommend this cleanser, and who knows it may end up replacing my trustee Simple Cleansing Lotion.

Have you tried this cleanser, if so what did you think?

Thanks for reading!
