Collection is one of the cheapest brands in the drugstore, with all of their products retailing under £6. They recently had an offer in which if you bought 2 products, then you got the Collection Volumax mascara for free. As I was in need of repurchasing my ride or die concealer, I thought I would try some more products from the brand. I opted for their Primed & Ready primer as I am running low on primer at the moment, so needed something new to add to my collection.
Collection Primed & Ready Illuminating Primer
This primer aims to revive and illuminate the skin, leaving you with a gorgeous glow and dewy skin. I love a dewy finish to my makeup so I knew this primer would be great for this. I apply this either before doing my makeup as I base to lock my primer in and add glow to the skin and finish, or mix it in with my foundation to add a subtle glow to my foundation. This could also work as a cream highlighter in certain areas, however I am yet to try this method. I think this is such a pretty primer that adds a pretty pink glow to the cheeks. It reminds me very much of the MAC Strobe Cream in Pinklite, as it’s such a similar colour and provides a similar glow.
The Volumax mascara is both a primer and mascara in one. I have never tried an eyelash primer before, so I was intrigued to see how it worked and if it made a difference to the longevity of my mascara. The wands on both the primer and mascara are quite big so really coat every lash. I do think it may be a bit too big however, as I end up getting a mark on my nose when I try to apply it. In terms of the mascaras performance, I wasn’t wowed or really even impressed by this mascara. Yes it coated my lashes and added slightly more colour, length and volume, but it didn’t really add enough for me to even notice. I have many mascaras in my collection that work better than this one, so I won’t be swapping this one for them anytime soon.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
If you haven’t heard of this concealer before then you must have been living under a rock. I am not gonna ramble on about this, as if you have read my blog before you will know that it’s my favourite drugstore concealer. The coverage is amazing, the lasting power is amazing, the shade matches my skin perfectly and I couldn’t be without this in my collection!
So I think seen as though 2 out of the 3 products I picked up from Collection I loved, I will definitely be trying more from the brand. I have heard great things about their foundation from Rebecca Faye which is only £5.99, such a bargain.
Have you tried any products from Collection?
Thanks for reading!

I use a collection primer, I bought it as a one off one day before a payday when I needed to budget and I honestly haven’t looked back! It’s better than any high end primer I’ve used before, and so soooo bank friendly! I love it 😍 xx
